From Sphera Football to Sphera

The project began as Sphera Football. Early strategy work led to a simpler core name, keeping football as the first category without making it a permanent limit for the brand.

Sphera logotype exploration

Sphera logo proposals across six identity directions

From territory to mark

The abstract territory gave Sphera room to move away from familiar football symbols and straightforward S monograms. Six directions explored that space, with the most restrained route ultimately becoming the final mark.

One identity, room to move

The final system keeps Sphera at the center, with the symbol able to stand on its own and Football or Athletics added as category lockups when needed. Unbounded and Instrument Sans, together with a compact black, white and red palette, complete the identity system.

Built for product

The identity extends across apparel and training equipment, using the compact mark as a consistent signature from jerseys and caps to shin pads, socks and training gear.

Room to grow

By separating the core brand from its first category, Sphera gained an identity that could begin in football without ending there. The same core can move across different sports, product types and applications without changing what makes the brand recognizable.

It’s been a great journey developing the brand with you.
