Direction built into every letter

Left was a logistics and transportation software product developed through Chicago agency FlyDesign.

The custom wordmark turns the name itself into the directional device. A left-facing arrowhead is repeated inside the construction of L, E, F and T, so four different letters share one geometric rule and a very consistent rhythm. There is no separate symbol doing the conceptual work: the idea survives through the letterforms alone, which is also why the mark holds up particularly well in black and white and at the small sizes required by a software dashboard. The same construction was briefly adapted into Aurora before the client returned to Left and requested the final vector files in 2018.
